Saluda County EMS is proud to announce the addition of a brand-new Frazer Type I ambulance to its emergency response fleet. Built on a Ford F-450 4x4 diesel chassis, this state-of-the-art unit features a 12-foot Frazer emergency module, equipped with advanced life support (ALS) capabilities and designed to meet the high standards of modern pre-hospital care.

This Frazer Type I ambulance is engineered for both durability and performance, featuring a 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel engine, on-board generator, and shoreline charging system. The climate-controlled interior is built with crash-tested cabinetry, antimicrobial surfaces, and LED lighting, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient environment for both patients and providers.

Designed with both patient care and crew safety in mind, the unit includes the Stryker Power-LOAD™ cot retention system, upgraded scene lighting for nighttime visibility, and a fully integrated HVAC system for maximum comfort. The layout is optimized for rapid access to critical equipment, and the communications suite features seamless integration with radio and mobile data terminals.
