Patriot EMS is excited to unveil its newly remounted Type III ambulance, a testament to the agency’s commitment to operational excellence, fiscal responsibility, and modernized emergency care. This project involved the full refurbishment of the existing patient care module and its integration onto a new Type III cutaway chassis, resulting in a like-new vehicle designed to meet today’s demanding EMS standards. The remount process not only extended the life of the unit but also ensured seamless performance and safety for both patients and providers.

The updated unit includes a reengineered electrical system to power advanced medical equipment, upgraded LED emergency and scene lighting for improved visibility, and a redesigned interior that enhances provider ergonomics and infection control. Additional upgrades include improved climate control, updated cabinetry, and reinforced safety features throughout the module.

Now back in active service, the remounted Type III ambulance strengthens Patriot EMS’s ability to deliver responsive, reliable care across the communities it serves.
