Floyd Medical Center now Atrium Floyd has taken delivery of their new Type III ambulance remount. This remount has been built on a new 2022 Ford e450. The 170-inch lifeline module has been brought back to life by the Emergency Transportation Associates production team.  This build features all-new LED lighting that includes a front HIviz brow light, new LED emergency lighting, new floor, new trim, new Stryker PowerLOAD, and PowerPRO XT cot retention system.

Atrium Health Floyd Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provides emergency ambulance and non-emergency transport services to residents of Floyd and Chattooga Counties in Georgia and Cherokee County in Alabama.

EMS also provides intensive education, community outreach and disaster-response initiatives.
