Caldwell County EMS recently partnered with Emergency Transportation Associates (ETA) to complete a full Type I Frazer ambulance remount, extending the life of their existing module while delivering a refreshed, mission-ready unit built for today’s demands. By remounting their proven Frazer module onto a new heavy-duty chassis, the county gained a like-new ambulance at a significantly lower cost than purchasing a new vehicle, all while preserving the durable construction and familiar layout their crews rely on.

As part of the remount process, ETA upgraded the vehicle’s lighting package with modern LED emergency and scene lights, enhanced interior lighting for patient care, and ensured all electrical systems were inspected, updated, and optimized. The interior received refinished cabinetry, updated flooring, and improved storage solutions tailored to Caldwell County’s operational needs. The exterior was completed with refreshed graphics and striping to match the agency’s branding.

This project provided Caldwell County EMS with a faster turnaround time than a new unit, reduced overall fleet replacement costs, and ensured their providers could work in an environment that feels both familiar and modern.
