Forsyth County EMS is proud to introduce its recently remounted Ford E-450 ambulance, reflecting the agency’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, operational efficiency, and high-quality emergency medical care. The remount project involved refurbishing the existing patient care module and installing it on a newer Ford E-450 chassis, allowing the department to upgrade critical systems while extending the service life of a dependable platform. This strategic investment supports both environmental responsibility and cost-effective fleet management.

The remounted ambulance features a completely updated electrical system to accommodate modern EMS equipment, new high-visibility LED emergency and scene lighting, and an interior redesign focused on safety, infection control, and paramedic workflow. Enhanced patient restraints, updated cabinetry, and new safety components ensure that the vehicle meets current industry standards while providing a safe and functional environment for both patients and providers.

Now fully operational, this E-450 unit is already serving the residents of Forsyth County, demonstrating the department’s innovative approach to fleet management.
